Road

It's useful having a car in Cornwall as Uber is  unsurprisingly non-existent and the bus most probably goes into town once a week on a Tuesday morning....

Our preferred route is M4 followed by M5 and down the A30 - on a clear route it's about 4hr 45mins from central London - however with stops (Reading Services are a personal favourite of ours) and traffic expect a 5 to 6 hour journey all in.

The other option is the M3 followed by the A303 which is a lovely scenic route past Stonehenge but is sloooow when there is traffic

Our best advice is pop the post code into Google maps and do what it says - it will find the fastet route based on current traffic and enjoy the road trip!!!

The nearest train station is BODMIN PARKWAY which is on the mainline railway from London Paddington with a journey time of about 4 hours.

Bodmin Parkway is a 40 min taxi ride from the venue or 30 mins to the church and advance booking of taxis is required:

Or if you are staying in Cornwall for a few days it may be more economical to hire a car:

The nearest airport is NEWQUAY with regular flights operated by Flybe from London Gatwick taking just over 1 hour.
